Ms. Gina DeGregorioBand Director and Brass/Percussion SpecialistMs. Gina DeGregorio received her Bachelor of Music Education from VanderCook College of Music. In addition to teaching at DPM, Ms. DeGregorio performs with the Chicago Bears and Bulls Drumline. Ms. DeGregorio also actively performs with various jazz and rock groups throughout the Chicagoland area and is a well-sought after percussion clinician. In 2015 Ms. DeGregorio was invited as a Conn-Selmer VIP to attend the Conn-Selmer headquarters in Elkhart, Indiana as an ambassador for current issues and trends in music education.

Mr. Corey AmesBand Director and Woodwind SpecialistMr. Corey Ames received his Bachelors of Music Education degree from VanderCook College of Music and his Masters of Music in Music Education through Boston University. Prior to Deer Path, Mr. Ames was Director of Bands and Music Theory at Loyola Academy High School and a Private Clarinet Instructor in Lake County, IL. Mr. Ames was selected to be the assistant music director for the Illinois All- State Theatre production of Urinetown in 2010. Mr. Ames was recently appointed to the D'Addario Music Educators Consortium. In addition to teaching responsibilities, Mr. Ames is currently the director of the Libertyville Village Band. Mr. Ames has also played clarinet as a member of the Northshore Concert Band, Waukegan Municipal Band, Saginaw Eddy Concert Band and the former Honsinger Symphonic Wind Ensemble. Mr. Ames is a 4-time quarterfinalist for the Music Educator Grammy and a recipient of the NAMM Support Music Merit Award. He is a sought after judge and clinician in the Chicagoland area.
